BIOGRAPHY

Tiana understands the impact of litigation on families and works hard to negotiate outside of court and encourages attendance at mediation arbitration. However, Tiana understands that not all situations are appropriate or possible to be resolved through such alternative dispute resolution means and she is a skilled litigator who instills confidence in her clients through her courtroom ability. It is important to her for her clients to feel that they have had their voices heard and that they understand each step of the negotiation and litigation process.

Tiana practices in the area of family law at Knight Molloy Patrick LLP. She is one of the founding partners of KMP and the firm was opened in October of 2018. Tiana obtained her J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2017. During law school, she volunteered with ProBono Students Canada as part of the Human Rights Project and appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench as part of a Human Rights Law appeal.

Prior to attending law school, Tiana lived in Ottawa, Ontario where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Carleton University. She was also a member of the goalball national team and represented Canada at the Para-Panamerican games in 2015.

Tiana was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Outside the office Tiana enjoys spending time with her dog Loulou.

Tiana volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance and with the Assist Articling Student Call Out Initiative. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, The Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. She is a co-chair of the Access to Justice committee and a member of the Equity and Diversity committee.
